The first gallery is images taken on Hackpen Hill (or White Horse Hill), the climb to checkpoint one, and the second gallery is taken further into the course, near Ashdown Park (just past checkpoing three). All photos were taken accomplished pro cycling lensman, Tim Redgrove.

All photos have been tagged by rider number, so you can search for yourself by number. If you can’t remember your rider number, you can look it up in the event results. Riders with no visible number have been tagged as “Unidentified”. You can search those images by clicking here.

The photos can be purchased as either downloads or prints, with prices starting from just £1. Any profit from the sale of the photos will be donated to charity. Our supported charity for 2013 is WaterAid. 

The results from the event are now online; you can check the rider times here. We’ve made all notified ammendments, and any other changes we can spot too, but if there is anything out of place about your listing, email us and we’ll make the necessary correction. And sorry, but due to a technical problem on the day, we weren’t able ot run a timing point at the final checkpoint, so the only timing splits we were able to record were for Full Route riders at checkpoint two.

We were lucky to have the excellent Tim Redgrove out taking photos for us on the day, and he’s busy sorting and processing the images at the moment. We hope to have them online and available for download in the next couple of days. And as usual, any profit from the sale of the event photos will be donated to charity. Check back in the next couple of days for updates.

Entry on the day will be available for this event. You can enter at event registration from 8:00am. On the day entry is £5 extra to advance booking prices, so if you can book in advance it will save you some money!

We’re back in the office tomorrow, after a day of clear up and travelling today, so we’ll be able to get results online.

We have started uploading photos too. We were lucky to have top Isle of Wight professional Jason Swain back behind the lens for us again, and his pictures look great! As soon as they are all uploaded and tagged by rider number, we’ll publish the gallery here.

Entries to our events are up by 25% on average, and the St George’s Sportive last month saw it’s highest ever attendance. But the biggest grower by far is the Reigate Rouleur, currently outselling previous years by almost 80%. That puts this reliable 500 rider event on course to accelerate up to a capacity of 7-800 riders this year!

We shouldn’t be surprised. This well established event has been a popular fixture since 2008, and has great access for London and the South East. And the course is a summer treat, sharing it’s western end with parts of the Olympic course from 2012, but heads east into the beautiful Kent countryside, instead of north into the city and it’s suburbs. The Rouleur name is well deserved – it’s a course that rolls fluenty through it’s exquisite scenery, although with a middle third that will properly put your climbing legs to the test.

It’s a summer ride to remember, and you’d usually be able to enter right up to the day, but this is a heads up; it looks like this event is going ot a new level, and could well be a sell out. Book your place now to avoid disappointment!

What You Get
The big draw of the Wight Riviera is the chance to ride a on closed roads, in one of the beautiful parts of the country; and for a price ticket that’s little more than many ‘ordinary’ sportives charge! The Closed Road
The ride starts with that 25km rolling road closure, straight out from a mass start on Yarmouth harbour front. This beautiful section of the course includes stunning cliff side coastal climbs and descents, and amazing views across the West Wight and over to the mainland, all on roads closed off especially for the ride! Start is 9:45am for everyone, giving you plenty of time to get over to the event and be lined up and ready to ride!

The Course
