Cycling Weekly: Southern Sportive “best in UK”

The weeks Cycling Weekly (Nov 17th) features their ride of view of Septembers Southern Sportive, and seems that they rated it!

You can read the full write up in the magazine, but CW journalist James Shrubsall concludes:

“This is the fourth time I’ve done this ride. It was good to begin with, but it gets better every year. The feed stops offer a nice variety of tasty food; the finishers tee [shirt] is actually pretty cool (a rarity); the organisation and signage is truly second to none (there were even marshals to show riders a short-cut to the HQ from the overflow car park!) and the route is a corker.
Now, with the 192km Wilier Gauntlet option, this sportive ranks with the best in the UK. Keep September 9th 2012 free – you’ve a date with a great ride.”

It’s good to hear we’re getting it right! The Southern Sportive will of course be back on Sept. 9th, and we’ll aiming to make it even better once again!
